Small talk is a key to great communication and these small talk tips will help you with breaking the ice. Small talk takes practice and the more you practice the better you will get. These 4 conversation starters will help you feel comfortable the next time you decide to engage in a little small talk. Aaron Marino of alpha m. says that small talk is the key to managing the act of conversing with new people and a critical component of interaction. We need small talk. It's like boxing- you start by feeling him / her out. It's a dance, not knocking someone out. Small talk is peppering them with punches. Four Favorite Conversation Starters 1. "When you're not working, what do you like doing?" - hobbies (passion) are something that people can talk about all day long and they get excited doing it. Conversation will get rolling, and eventually they reciprocate the question. 2. "How's your day going?" - hopefully they elaborate more than 'fine'. If not, go to #3. 3. "You have any plans this weekend?" - if they haven't engaged at this point, this person 'sucks' and find someone else. 4. Lead with a compliment; however, the only appropriate aspect to compliment is something that they're wearing otherwise it could be taken the wrong way!

It just feels so good Second chances they don't ever matter, people never change Once a whore you're nothing more, I'm sorry, that'll never change And about forgiveness, we're both supposed to have exchanged I'm sorry honey, but I passed it up, now look this way Well there's a million other girls who do it just like you Looking as innocent as possible to get to who They want and what they like it's easy if you do it right Well I refuse, I refuse, I refuse! Woah, I never meant brag But I got him where I want him now. Okay? So I'm going to teach you a very important skill that will help improve your marks when it comes to writing on tests. So, let's get started. So, I have here an essay question. This question is actually... I've seen it on the IELTS. You know, you have similar types of questions on the TOEFL, sometimes in university. The question is this: "Education is the single most important factor in the development of a country. Do you agree or disagree?" Or maybe: "To what extent do you agree or disagree?" So, this is an example of a question you might be asked. Now, a problem a lot of students have is in their answer to this question. They see this, and they think: "Okay, education is the most important factor in the development of a country, yes, I agree." So then they... Or: "I disagree", and they start writing. And what do they write? Usually the very first thing students will write is this: "I agree that education is the single most important factor in the development of a country because..." So, what is the problem with this? Is there any problem to start off your essay with something like this, or to start off your answer? There's a big problem. So I want you to take a moment and think: "What could be the problem with starting your essay off with this sentence?" Okay, well, if you noticed, you have here the word: "education, education, is, is, the single most important, most important factor". If you notice, these are the same. They're the exact same, except for: "I agree that" and "because". The student, here, has used the exact same wording that is in the question. So, if you do this on the IELTS-and many students do this, same with on the TOEFL-you actually will lose marks, and same with in university, because you're not showing your abilities; you're just copying what somebody else has said or what the essay question is. So, in this video, I'm going to show you first off... First off, I'm going to tell you: Don't do this, don't copy. And I'm going to teach you ways in order to improve yourself and your answer by changing this wording. How can you change your introduction so it's different than what the question is? Okay? So, let's look at how to make these changes. Okay, so what we are going to do in order to change the question into a proper answer that doesn't just copy the question, is we are going to paraphrase. So, the word here is: "paraphrase". This might be a new word for you. What does it mean to paraphrase something? Well, when we paraphrase, it means we take a sentence that, you know... We take somebody else's sentence and we change it into our own words. Okay? So, we change the words of a sentence, we also change maybe the sentence structure, but we keep all the same meaning. Okay? So, the meaning from the sentence you copy, it stays the same, same meaning, but different words and different sentence structure. Okay? So it's in your words, but this other person's meaning. So, we are going to paraphrase this example of a question into our own words. So, first we're going to look at how to do that using vocabulary and synonyms. So, we have here the same question: "Education is the single most important factor in the development of a country." How can we put this into new words or our own words that keep the same meaning? Well, we can use synonyms. So, this might be a new word for you, too. A "synonym". "Synonyms" are words that have the same meaning, but are different words.

The trailer for Olaf's Frozen Adventure is here! The all-new featurette will open in US theatres in front of Disney/Pixar's Coco beginning November 22. Walt Disney Animation Studios (WDAS) and Pixar Animation Studios are teaming up this holiday season when WDAS’ new featurette “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure” opens in front of Disney•Pixar’s original feature film “Coco” on Nov. 22, 2017. The new trailer for the featurette will run in front of Disney•Pixar’s “Cars 3,” beginning this Friday, June 16, when Lightning McQueen’s new big-screen adventure opens in theaters nationwide. “I’m thrilled that Disney Animation’s featurette ‘Olaf’s Frozen Adventure’ will be coming to theaters in November with Pixar’s ‘Coco,’” said John Lasseter, chief creative officer, Walt Disney and Pixar Animation Studios. “It’s a perfect pairing – they’re both beautiful, heartfelt films about families and how people carry traditions forward. I can’t wait for audiences to get to see both of these terrific projects together on the big screen.” Featuring four new original songs, the 21-minute featurette welcomes the original cast and characters back to the big screen, including Olaf (voice of Josh Gad), who is on a mission to harness the best holiday traditions for Anna (voice of Kristen Bell), Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel) and Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff). Directed by Emmy®-winning filmmakers Kevin Deters and Stevie Wermers-Skelton (“Prep & Landing”), produced by Oscar® winner Roy Conli (“Big Hero 6”), with original songs by Elyssa Samsel and Kate Anderson (“Between the Lines”), “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure” will be in theaters for a limited time beginning Nov. 22. “Stevie and I were deeply honored to be entrusted by John [Lasseter] to create an all-new story with these characters we love,” said Deters. “We’re thrilled to have our film play on the big screen with ‘Coco’ during the holidays.” “We loved getting in the recording booth with these incredible actors who know their characters inside and out,” added Wermers-Skelton. “We can’t wait for audiences to see the featurette, enjoy their performances, and hear the incredible new songs written by Elyssa and Kate.” “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure” celebrates characters who won over audiences worldwide when “Frozen” first hit the big screen in 2013. Earning more than $1.27 billion globally, the film won two Academy Awards® (best animated film and best original song with “Let It Go”) and a Golden Globe® (best animated feature film). Slated for November 2019, Walt Disney Animation Studios’ untitled feature-length follow-up to the hit film reunites filmmakers Jennifer Lee, Chris Buck and Peter Del Vecho with the Grammy®- and Oscar®-winning songwriting duo Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez. ABOUT WDAS’ “OLAF’S FROZEN ADVENTURE” Olaf (voice of Josh Gad) teams up with Sven on a merry mission in Walt Disney Animation Studios’ 21-minute featurette “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure.” It’s the first holiday season since the gates reopened and Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) and Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel) host a celebration for all of Arendelle. When the townspeople unexpectedly leave early to enjoy their individual holiday customs, the sisters realize they have no family traditions of their own. So, Olaf sets out to comb the kingdom to bring home the best traditions and save this first Christmas for his friends. Directed by Emmy®-winning filmmakers Kevin Deters and Stevie Wermers-Skelton (“Prep & Landing”), produced by Oscar® winner Roy Conli (“Big Hero 6”), and featuring a screenplay by Jac Schaeffer and four original songs by Elyssa Samsel and Kate Anderson, “Olaf’s Frozen Adventure” opens in front of Disney•Pixar’s original feature “Coco” in U.S. theaters on Nov. 22, 2017. ABOUT DISNEYPIXAR’S “COCODespite his family’s baffling generations-old ban on music, Miguel (voice of newcomer Anthony Gonzalez) dreams of becoming an accomplished musician like his idol, Ernesto de la Cruz (voice of Benjamin Bratt). Desperate to prove his talent, Miguel finds himself magically transported to the stunning and colorful Land of the Dead following a mysterious chain of events. Along the way, he meets charming trickster Hector (voice of Gael García Bernal), and together, they set off on an extraordinary journey to unlock the real story behind Miguel's family history. Directed by Lee Unkrich (“Toy Story 3”), co-directed by Adrian Molina (story artist “Monsters University”) and produced by Darla K. Eternal Father, Strong to Save - Christian Navy Hymn with lyrics Hymn to the Sea / Choir Christian Hymns playlist: http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=BD1B04EAC0152F4B Link to my "Christian Devotional Readings" Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Christian-Devotional-Readings/196846270398160?ref=hl Words: William Whiting, 1860. He wrote the lyrics as a poem for a student about to sail for America. Music: Melita, John B. Dykes, in Hymns Ancient and Modern, 1861. Dykes fittingly named the tune after a locale associated with a Biblical shipwreck. Melita was the island the Apostle Paul reached after his ship went down (Acts 28:1); today we know it as the isle of Malta. William Whiting (1825-1878) In America, Eternal Father is often called the Navy Hymn, because it is sung at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. It is also sung on ships of the British Royal Navy and has been translated into French. It was the favorite hymn of U.S. President Franklin Roosevelt and was sung at his funeral in Hyde Park, New York, April 1945. The Navy Band played it in 1963 as U.S. President John Kennedys body was carried up the steps of the U.S. Capitol to lie in state. Roosevelt served as Secretary of the Navy, and Kennedy was a PT boat commander in World War II. The original words were written as a hymn by a schoolmaster and clergyman of the Church of England, the Rev. William Whiting. Rev. Whiting (1825-1878) resided on the English coast near the sea and had once survived a furious storm in the Mediterranean. His experiences inspired him to pen the ode, "Eternal Father, Strong to Save." In the following year, 1861, the words were adapted to music by another English clergyman, the Rev. John B. Dykes (1823-1876) , who had originally written the music as "Melita" (ancient name for the Mediterranean island of Malta). Rev. Dykes' name may be recognized as that of the composer given credit for the music to many other well-known hymns, including "Holy, Holy, Holy," "Lead, Kindly Light," "Jesus, Lover of My Soul," and "Nearer, My God to Thee." In the United States, in 1879 the late Rear Adm. Charles Jackson Train, an 1865 graduate of the United States Naval Academy at Annapolis was a lieutenant commander stationed at the Academy in charge of the Midshipman Choir. In that year, Lt. Comdr. Train inaugurated the present practice of concluding each Sunday's Divine Services at the Academy with the singing of the first verse of this hymn. The hymn, entitled "Eternal Father, Strong to Save," is found in most Protestant Hymnals. It can be more easily located in these hymnals by consulting the "Index to First Lines" under "Eternal Father, Strong to Save." The words have been changed several times since the original hymn by Rev. Whiting was first published in 1860-61. One will find that the verses as now published differ from the original primarily in the choice of one or two words in several lines of each verse. -~-~~-~~~-~~-~- Please watch: "FULL ALBUM Christian Praise Worship Songs 2013 - A Message of Hope" ➨ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jb_VlgldVpA -~-~~-~~~-~~-~-

Learn how to increase or decrease space before paragraph and change line spacing in your Ms Word document in this tutorial. Don't forget to check out our site http://howtech.tv/ for more free how-to videos! http://youtube.com/ithowtovids - our feed http://www.facebook.com/howtechtv - join us on facebook https://plus.google.com/103440382717658277879 - our group in Google+ Microsoft Word is a free word processor with options that allow its user to edit the text in a number of ways. In Ms Word, one may perform a variety of functions such as adding tables, graphs, charts etc. You use different fonts, colors, and styles etc that make the text stand out. The line spacing option is used to improve variability and to alter the page layout. This allows text to look more complete and organized. It adds extra space between the lines in a paragraph in order to arrange the text in a manner that makes it look highly presentable. In this tutorial, you will learn how to change the line spacing options in MS Word. Step # 1 -- Setting Line Spacing First of all, select your text and click on the line spacing option in the "Paragraph" section under the "Page Layout" tab. You can change the space between lines in your text by choosing values that appear from the drop down menu. You can choose "1.15" to be the value in this case. Step # 2 -- Applying customized line spacing Line spacing values can also be set manually in the documents. In the drop down menu of "line spacing", click on the last option which is the "line spacing" option. In the window that opens up, you must enter the line spacing values as per your requirement in case the values shown in the drop down menu do not meet your requirements. To manually set the line spacing, go to the "Spacing" options and select line spacing as multiple and insert the desired value next to it. Step # 3 -- Adding space before a paragraph Just like adding space between lines in text, you can also add space before a specific paragraph to adjust the page layout. Bring your cursor to the paragraph before which you wish to add space. Now, go to the "Line and Paragraph Spacing" option and select the second last option titled 'Add space before paragraph'. Once this has been done, you will see the desired space appear before the targeted paragraph. Step # 4 -- Removing space after paragraph In order to eradicate the space in between paragraphs in your Ms Word document, you will need to select the option titled 'Remove space after paragraph'. The option can be found by clicking on the "Line and Paragraph Spacing" button that is located in the "Paragraph" section.
