NOTE: if you select "English (United Kingdom)", you'll get subtitles which cover *everything*. The default "English" subtitles only cover the German and French parts. This is the Nico-Icon documentary as it appears on the DVD which I bought in the Netherlands, where I live. The DVD has English, Dutch, German, Spanish, and Portuguese subtitles. Apart from these, I have also made my own. These subs are basically a transcription of everything that is said (and sung), combined with the English subs of the French and German parts. You can turn them on by selecting "English (United Kingdom)". The other subtitles are mostly the same as they appear on the DVD, although I've made some corrections/additions here and there. Among them are: - The first lines of all languages, except the English on...

Small talk is a key to great communication and these small talk tips will help you with breaking the ice. Small talk takes practice and the more you practice the better you will get. These 4 conversation starters will help you feel comfortable the next time you decide to engage in a little small talk. Aaron Marino of alpha m. says that small talk is the key to managing the act of conversing with new people and a critical component of interaction. We need small talk. It's like boxing- you start by feeling him / her out. It's a dance, not knocking someone out. Small talk is peppering them with punches. Four Favorite Conversation Starters 1. "When you're not working, what do you like doing?" - hobbies (passion) are something that people can talk about all day long and they get excited doing it. Conversation will get rolling, and eventually they reciprocate the question. 2. "How's your day going?" - hopefully they elaborate more than 'fine'. If not, go to #3. 3. "You have any plans this weekend?" - if they haven't engaged at this point, this person 'sucks' and find someone else. 4. Lead with a compliment; however, the only appropriate aspect to compliment is something that they're wearing otherwise it could be taken the wrong way!

Read Faster: Learn to speed read to increase your reading speed CALCULATE READING SPEED- http://www.staples.com/sbd/cre/marketing/technology-research-centers/ereaders/speed-reader/index.html Personal development legend Jim Rohn has this to say "The difference between where you are today and where you'll be five years from now will be found in the quality of books you've read." Well what if you can read 3 times as many books with just a 15 minute exercise! That is exactly what this post will do for you, it has already worked for me and I've had amazing feedback from other people who have tried it. I've also created this amazing tool to help in other areas of life. http://www.businessgrowthlabs.com/dreamsdashboard/ Read 300% Faster in 15 Minutes When you read you do not need to stop and read every word, your eyes make saccadic (jumps) movements across the page and your brain processes the words in that picture. If you have not done the exercises shown in the video, it is likely a person will jump around the page much more than they have to, losing time and even going BACKWARDS sometimes! Another way people lose lots of time when reading is they do not use their peripheral vision to their advantage, this means 50% of their field of vision is used up reading blank margins. Click the video below to learn the two secrets, that come from "The 4-Hour Work Week" by Tim Ferris, you can use to increase your reading speed 300% in 15 minutes. Exercise During all exercises if possible lay book on a flat surface and DO NOT worry about comprehension. Use best judgement when told to keep reading each line to a certain time limit. Speed Reading Step 1- Test Initial Reading Speed by Clicking Link Above. Speed Reading Step 2- Use a pen (lid on) or pencil to underline each word as you read focusing just above it. This gives your eyes something to track and allows for a consistent speed and decreasing fixation duration. Technique (2 Minutes)- max.of 1 sec. per line increasing speed every page. Speed (3 Minutes)- max.of 1/2 sec. per line increasing speed every page Speed Reading Step 3- Still using pen to track but this time start and stop reading "x" words in from the end of the line. So in the sentence (Students used to enjoy reading 4 hours every day) in the first technique stage below you would begin reading with the word "used" and end on "every", but still using your peripheral vision to read the first and last word. Just as you are reading this sentence but you can still see the edge of the computer screen. Technique (1 Minute)- 1 word in from beginning and end (Max. 1 Sec. per line.) Technique (1 Minute)- 2 words in from beginning and end (Max. 1 Sec. per line.) Speed (3 Minutes)- 1 word in from beginning and end (Max. 1/2 Sec. per line.) Speed Reading Step 4- Test Final Reading Speed by Clicking Link Above. Speed Reading Step 5- Leave a comment below of your starting and finishing speed to show improvement. Bonus Speed Reading Tip Whatever speed you wish to read at, you should practice these exercises at 3x that word per minute (wpm). For example if you wish to read at 800 wpm you should practice at 2400 wpm. Think of speed reading as working out a muscle, the more you push yourself to read faster (lifting heavy weights) the easier it is to read at the pace you want with full comprehension (feels like lifting light weights that used to feel heavy). One more thing I have found is that you can continue to improve your reading speed if you do this exercise on a consistent basis. My routine is to do these exercises every saturday morning and after 3 weeks of doing this my reading had increased from 600 wpm to 900 wpm, and from the first time of doing this exercise it was all the way up from 250 wpm! This one little exercise has had one of the most dramatic impacts on my business and personal growth as I am now able to gain, and then apply knowledge almost 4x as fast! This is what you can do also, therefore if what Jim Rohn says is correct in the next 5 years you will be able to gain the equivalent of 20 years experience if you had not had this exercise which takes 15 minutes! ================================================================================ Blog: http://www.zanderwoodford-smith.com ================================================================================

Among them are: - The first lines of all languages, except the English one, were missing. - The last lines of all languages had some strange gibberish in them. - The "Striptease" part (12:25) was not translated. I have this film and copied the lines from it. - The "La Dolce Vita" part (18:12) is not translated. - The Terry liquor commercial (18:36) is not translated. - Error on 26:57. Present in all subs, except the Portuguese one. Edith Boulogne supposedly said: "She knew that her daughter was a big baby herself, unable to raise a child". What she actually said: "She knew that her daughter was a big girl, but unable to raise a child." Special thanks to ParadoxapocalypSatan for spotting this. - Error on 35:50. Present in German and Dutch subs. Line was missing and a Dutch word was wrong. Again thanks to ParadoxapocalypSatan. Also of interest might be the 'productions notes' of this film: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PmtYNkSNc74

Loving offenders thus I will excuse ye: Thou dost love her, because thou know'st I love her; And for my sake even so doth she abuse me, Suffering my friend for my sake to approve her. If I lose thee, my loss is my love's gain, And losing her, my friend hath found that loss; Both find each other, and I lose both twain, And both for my sake lay on me this cross: But here's the joy; my friend and I are one; Sweet flattery! then she loves but me alone.

086 - Emission and Absorption Spectra In this video Paul Andersen explains how the photons emitted from or absorbed by an atom or nuclei is directly related to electrons moving between energy level. Absorption and emission are a direct result of the conservation of energy. Scientists may use the emission spectra of material to determine the atoms or molecules contained within the material. It just feels so good Second chances they don't ever matter, people never change Once a whore you're nothing more, I'm sorry, that'll never change And about forgiveness, we're both supposed to have exchanged I'm sorry honey, but I passed it up, now look this way Well there's a million other girls who do it just like you Looking as innocent as possible to get to who They want and what they like it's easy if you do it right Well I refuse, I refuse, I refuse! Woah, I never meant brag But I got him where I want him now. Woah, it was never my intention to brag To steal it all away from you now But God does it feel so good 'Cause I got him where I want him right now And if you could then you know you would 'Cause God it just feels so...
